Join me for a one-day oil painting workshop designed for beginners and intermediates.
Learn to capture the beauty of a wave with a surfer in both daylight and sunset scenes using the alla prima technique, perfect for plein air painting.
This step-by-step demonstration class includes all materials, allowing you to create and take home two small completed paintings.
Please BYO lunch. We will only stop for 20 minutes half way through the session.
With a maximum of 10 participants, enjoy personalised guidance as you paint between demonstrations.

What you will learn:
- How to understand colour: concepts of colour theory and mixing and its application in the landscape
- Observing and painting approach to landscapes in oils, composition and creating depth using colour, tone and perspective
- Using underpainting and layering of paint while blending colours to create beautiful colours
Important information:
In this painting class, we do not use toxic turpentine. However, a minimal amount of odourless solvents are used. Please note that for safety reasons, the painting class is not recommended for pregnant women.
